Where are you from?
New Orleans, went to college in PA, then came back for grad school and stuck around
What do you do?
I do infectious disease research at LSU Health, host trivia at Tracey’s (catch me post-quarantine Tuesdays @7:30!), work as a princess at parties, and teach children’s theater
On a typical WFH day, what is your routine?
6:30 wake-up, work for a few hours, 9:30 Body Shoppe, coffee break, work some more, Mid-day BS class, work, afternoon BS, walk my foster dog, dinner, binge Breaking Bad/Star Wars
How have you been treating yourself during this time?
Unlimited coffee refills, frozen french 75s from Superior Seafood, re-watching Saints highlights
What’s one recommendation you have for anyone that’s going a little kookoo?
Stream more Body Shoppe! To quote a genius: "Exercise gives you endorphins. Endorphins make you happy. Happy people just don't kill their husbands" (or friends/roommates/family members/etc)

What is your hidden talent?
Double jointed hips and shoulders. I look like an alien when I do push ups
If you had to choose a superpower, what would it be?
Anti-stress powers to help myself and others around me to calm down
What is your spirit animal?
Probably a blue whale because they just swim through the ocean constantly eating things.
How have you been able to prioritize your workouts? How do you stay motivated?
Working out is my stress relief and I schedule meetings and calls around classes so I can take time to do something that keeps me healthy and active. Also the instructors make me feel appreciated in class and I love feeling connected through fitness.
